Atropine eye drops

Atropine is currently the most effective drug in preventing the progression of myopia in children, with very few adverse reactions. In children's myopia control treatment, low-concentration atropine can delay the progression of myopia in children. Children who use atropine in myopia control usually wear glasses during the day, instill atropine in both eyes before going to bed at night. This eye drop will not sting, nor will it affect the child's vision or ability to focus.

Multifocal lenses

Special lenses can help with a variety of problems that children face. These lenses target the root cause of the problem and help relieve tight eye muscles in children. Used to control the rapid progression of myopia, especially in children with symptoms related to the near accommodative response, such as eye fatigue. This lens is designed to provide distance correction while making it easier to read at close range or perform tasks in front of you.

Ortho-K lenses (Night time)

Ortho-K is a contact lens specially designed to be worn at night, commonly known as an OK lens. It can reshape or flatten the cornea while people sleep at night, allowing them to maintain clear vision throughout the day without wearing glasses or contact lenses.

Who can use Ortho-K?

  • Children with mild to moderate myopia and adults with mild to moderate astigmatism.
  • Children with worsening myopia.
  • Myopic children who regularly exercise and swim.
  • Myopic children whose eyes are still growing are not candidates for LASIK eye surgery.
  • Myopic adults and children who don’t like to wear glasses.
  • Myopic children who keep losing or breaking their glasses.

Multifocal soft contact lenses (Daytime)

Soft multifocal contact lenses can be designed to direct peripheral light rays to focus in front of the retina, to provide a stop signal for eye growth that slows progression of myopia in children.
